Everything Evanescence

Evanescence: (The act of disappearing or vanishing slowly) Was formed by Amy Lynn(Lee) Hartzler Born December 13, 1981 and Ben Moody. Ben Moody met Amy Lee at camp and was impressed by her rendition of the classics on the piano. They wrote songs and music together through out High School and performed small gigs as a duo.At this stage of their career they could not afford a full band so most of the music was pre-programed by Moody. Finally they put together a demo CD called "Origin" and were eventually signed by Wind Up Records Incorporated. Wind Up Records signed John LeCompt, Rocky Gray and Will Boyd to fill the band.
