Oct 31, 2007 We still miss Ben and have his videos up here. Back to life and new videos of the family/animals and my travels. The documented life of a gentle giant who loved life and stole our hearts (July 15, 2007) Gentle Ben passed away peacefully on a cool, beautiful morning he spent outside with me. I had just returned from England the night before. We listened to the birds and watched the bright blue sky pass overhead. I scratched him behind the ear where he always liked it. The little time we had with Ben was a gift. Rest in peace our good friend. We miss you terribly. You are in our hearts and minds forever. You deserved more time.
