If you find it easy to yell at your dog, you don't deserve to be a dog owner. A good and loving parent would not easily raise their voice to a child, if ever. Dogs have less understanding than a child but can be just as traumatized as a child by abuse. These creatures just want to give love but need trust and love to function in a healthy way. Be slow to anger, very slow. Be quick to give praise. Would any of us want anything less for ourselves?
