Ghost Of was founded by Tony Allen (formerly of Dead Stays Alive), and Alex Gold in December of 2011. Shortly after, the two brought in guitarist James Lee Smith, and Nick Barnhill on drums. Stationed out of Savannah, Georgia, the group took their talents to Atlanta to record their first single, "Lost in my Mind" with Grammy nominated producer Joel Mullis. Mullis describes their sound as "haunting, edgy rock behind Gold's soulful vocals."
