James Perryman is an alt-country singer-songwriter hailing from West London, best known for his work with Australian siblings Angus & Julia Stone and London duo The Honey Ants. In 2018 James released the popular single 'Why Do You Only Love Me When I’m Stoned?' followed shortly after by 'The Narrow Gate' EP which was co-produced by Honey Ants frontman, John Grimsey. The material featured a new broader sound than his previous material, which James has continued to explore. James has continued to gig and work on new music and although (like everyone else) was halted by Covid in 2020, he plans to release new music in 2021.
