Diabula Rasa

Diabula Rasa are five barbarians, who have decided to revolutionize traditional performance of ancient music. They go back to the origins of written music, melodies are almost all original, (XIIIth, XIVth century) with authentic lyrics, but everything is revised and rearranged. They play different and particular instruments, for example: bagpipes, electro acoustic hardy-gurdy, saz and organ-pipe. Diabula Rasa stands out because of their power of sound, extraordinary stage scenography and barbarian make-up and costumes.
