At MAMA HOPE, we work alongside proximate leaders—those closest to community challenges—who are often overlooked despite holding the solutions. These leaders run locally-led organizations across East Africa that create meaningful, sustainable change with limited access to funding and global networks. We invest in their work through system strengthening, social enterprise development, and ethical advocacy that shifts power dynamics and uplifts their voices.
