Ballet San Antonio (BSA) is San Antonio's own professional ballet company. Since its inception in 1985 BSA has been a leading artistic institution in the community. The mission of Ballet San Antonio is to: -Produce inspiring performances that are characterized by excellence, artistry and innovation. -Improve children's lives through outreach programs enhancing learning and literacy, providing positive role models, and building self-esteem through dance. -Provide the opportunity of a professional career for San Antonio's aspiring dancers who reflect the city's cultural heritage and contribute to the development of performing arts that are uniquely San Antonio.
