Slashe, the artist formerly known as Iceman, is a Singer/Songwriter/Actor, born in Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica. He was once part of Big Yard Music Group led by CEO Robert Livingston. He’s written songs for Shaggy, Gramps Morgan, Shuga, Excolevi and Christopher Martin, to name a few. In 2014, he met legendary producer Donovan Germain, CEO of Penthouse Records and his career took a new dimension. Slashe began recording songs on The Penthouse Label, which to-date are still receiving steady rotation on radio in territories such as The UK, Catalunya, Spain, New York, Atlanta, Trinidad and of course, his homeland of Jamaica. A very successful summer tour of Catalunya and Spain in 2019 saw good strides being made in the musical promotion and visibilty of Slashe. Now The 2023 Festival Song Competition winner with his song entry titled BEST IN THE WORLD, Slashe is on a path to greater growth in the music business, with more singles to come and plans to perform locally and overseas.
