Adam Aziz AKA brokencool is a pioneering voice in Hip Hop media, launching the Hip-Hop Newsletter (HHN) in 1996—widely recognized as the internet’s first email-based Hip Hop newsletter. In 2006, Adam co-founded HHNLive.com, one of the web’s most visited Hip Hop sites. After exiting in 2008, he joined T.I.’s StreetCred.com as Managing Editor. That same year, Adam launched brokencool.com, a Hip Hop/comedy blog praised by RapRadar’s Elliott Wilson. Earlier, he served as Music Editor of Mic Check Magazine—Canada’s first national Hip Hop publication—at just 18.
