Adam Aziz AKA brokencool is a pioneering voice in Hip Hop media, launching the Hip-Hop Newsletter (HHN) in 1996—widely recognized as the internet’s first email-based Hip Hop newsletter.
In 2006, Adam co-founded HHNLive.com, one of the web’s most visited Hip Hop sites. After exiting in 2008, he joined T.I.’s StreetCred.com as Managing Editor.
That same year, Adam launched brokencool.com, a Hip Hop/comedy blog praised by RapRadar’s Elliott Wilson. Earlier, he served as Music Editor of Mic Check Magazine—Canada’s first national Hip Hop publication—at just 18. He also contributed to the Spitkicker newsletter, collaborating with De La Soul and Dave Chappelle.
