Videos from the Dakota Southern Railway Company(DSRC). DSRC operates the state owned line from Mitchell to Presho South Dakota. This line was in rough shape with trains traveling at 3-5 mph derailing almost every trip. Currently the line operates 2 soon to be 3 grain shuttle loader elevators with track speeds of up to 25 mph. The railroad also operates the Napa to just east of Tabor South Dakota. Besides mostly grain, the railroad handles fertilizer, pulpboard/fiberboard and scrap metals. I put of videos when I have time.
