From the former KUD "Janko Veselinović", the folklore ensemble "Đido" grew up and was formed, which was named after the title of Janko's play of the same name with a song and dance. Since 1995, the ensemble has achieved exceptional and notable results. By basing its program on the original forms of folk art, "Jido" strives to keep the game, song, costumes and customs from oblivion, paying special attention to the stage presentation of the program. Thanks to that quality, the ensemble drew attention to itself during its first performances and guest appearances. The repertoire of "Jida" is rich and diverse, and the program mostly consists of choreographies by our top choreographer Branko Markovic. The head of the orchestra is Zoran Puzić, and the artistic director of the folklore ensemble is Miloš Simić.
