Carol has always been a success at whatever she did. Born in Cork, Ireland, she was the youngest of 9 siblings. She began her career in entertainment at the age of 4 when she joined the Montfort Stage School. There she was formally trained in drama and dance and appeared in many amateur theatrical productions, including musicals, where her singing caught the ear of several Irish record producers.
