Gary Huston

Hi, my name is Gary Huston. I'm an ex-Farrier, (43 years at it!) Blacksmith, welder and general fabricator doing what I enjoy. I started out in 1978 with a four year Farriery apprenticeship, qualifying in 82, I stayed with my boss for a total of nine years before going solo. I now work out of a unit in Hertfordshire. It's a long while in a hard job so my body is starting to get a bit old and tired so I made the decision to stop shoeing in December 2021 just before major shoulder surgery. This channel is about me, mine and things I do. A combination of my job and my hobbies, always experimenting with new ideas and one off projects.
