Formed in 2011, in Thessaloniki, Greece, Mother Turtle started as a jam band. In those jam sessions, some solid musical ideas were developed and after a lot of rehearsing evolved into songs. Influenced by the great artists of the genre, Mother Turtle try to adapt the different elements of prog rock into their own music, taking advantage of the artistic freedom that progressive music provides. Mother Turtle have completed their songwriting and recording sessions for their first ever release and now they are proud to present you their self released and self titled debut album.
