Gaines Johnson

Gaines Johnson was born in 1950 and grew up in Ashland, Kentucky. In the 1960s through 1980 Gaines was a commercial radio and television announcer and engineer in cities across Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. Gaines is an independent digital filmmaker. He makes Trailers for Books and also does freelance editing and production. He studied Geology at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia from 1981 through 1985. In 1985 he went to work for the engineering branch of the U.S. Government's Voice of America radio service.
