Description

I have been playing the harp since I was fourteen (am seventeen now...) and I recently bought a Grand Harpsicle, my first harp! (before I had borrowed/rented harps from other people) I play primarily Celtic-oriented music and take lessons from Riley's School of Irish Music in Cincinnati, Ohio. Please forgive the video quality, I record all of my videos with an old webcam because I don't have anything better to use. A bit of my history: A lot of people ask where I'm from because of my accent, so I'll try to summarise it for you. I was born in the USA, parents are American but my mum was raised in a British boarding school. Not long after I was born we moved to Botswana, Africa, then to the UK three years later, then back the Botswana for two years, and then back to the US. My accent is the result of mushing American, English/Scottish, and Afrikaans accents together then throwing them into a blender. Although with American friends (and often family) I use a more American accent.
