Terra Leigh

Terra Leigh is a poet, editor, and lyricist from Chesapeake, VA. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in English- Creative Writing from Virginia Tech and her Master’s of Fine Arts in Poetry from Drew University. She is the winner Virginia Tech's 2013 Steger Poetry Award and runner up in the Poetry Society of Virginia's 2024 Spoken Word & Verse Video Award. Her poetry always invokes the ever questioning, curious voice within all people, and her lyrics create stories for those who will listen. Branching from love poetry to heart-breaking lyrics, she has a message for everyone. This is her journey through her own words.
