Red Priest

The official channel for the virtuoso baroque ensemble Red Priest, comprising Piers Adams (recorder), Adam Summerhayes (violin), Angela East (cello) and David Wright (harpsichord). This international quartet is named after Antonio Vivaldi, the Red Priest of Venice, and has been described in the New York Times as 'the wildly virtuosic little band', famed for its extraordinary crossover of authentic baroque style with modern, high-energy performance and creative arrangements. Acclaimed albums include Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Pirates of the Baroque, Handel in the Wind, Nightmare in Venice and a gypsy-baroque crossover entitled The Baroque Bohemians.
