The short version: The percussive sound of a baseball card stuck in my spokes when I was a kid inspired me in 2003 to start building a spinning music machine. My latest version is made out of repurposed 3d printer parts and a brain surgery motor. Future plans: To build a version with a motor that can lock to a very specific rpm so that I can play in sync with computer music.
