Having practised other sports before (Taekwondo, Thaiboxing, Wrestling) my greatest interest is Turkish archery. I started with an olympic recurve years ago switched to compound bows after a year and participated in tournaments before I had the chance to start practising Turkish archery. Concerning Turkish archery I use Turkic bows (e.g. Ottoman, Crimean Tatar etc.) and I use a thumbring. My special interest is in Turkish flight shooting with a siper (Turkish overdraw), Turkish flight arrow and horse archery with the Turkish style of shooting e.g. holding arrows in your drawing hand between your fingers.
