Marion Landry

Marion Landry is a multidisciplinary artist with a BFA (2016) and MFA (2023) from Emily Carr University of Art + Design. She has exhibited internationally since 1999. Landry's art practice prioritizes the embodied experience of painting and is grounded in a phenomenological approach. She creates site-adjusted installations that use light, temperature, and traditional painting techniques to immerse viewers in a sensory experience. Her geometrical compositions draw inspiration from iconic optical strategies, positioning her work in dialogue with the possibilities of abstraction in contemporary art.
