Mark Matteo is a Warren, Ohio-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer whose career spans over four decades. A founding member of The Rain (formed 1988), he released Gasoline Rainbows in 1993. In 1999, he joined Cleveland nu metal band Funny as lead guitarist. Funny's self-titled EP sold over 5,000 copies before releasing One Sick Year in 2002 and self-destructing in 2003. He reunited with Funny's singer in 2016 to record "Unbroken." Matteo has played in cover bands like Sherri Bomb, produced bands including Grey Larry and Dreadnaught, and made appearances on releases by Josiah Pandelli and Consumer Gallery.
