I created this YouTube channel in an effort to promote the work of upcoming (in particular) and established female reggae artistes. Growing up around sound systems I have long been aware of the challenges that women have in breaking into the music industry, and also maintaining a presence, after entering the door. It is my hope that this channel will assist in promoting the work of the females. Many times i see where riddims are released, and while the female may have stand-out tracks, the focus is usually on the work of her male counterpart.
