BEADY EYE: Are an English rock band that formed in London. Following the departure of guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Noel Gallagher from the band Oasis, lead vocalist Liam Gallagher decided to end the band and form a new one in its place, retaining guitarist Gem Archer, bassist Andy Bell [who switched to the role of guitarist] and drummer Chris Sharrock. The band began writing and recording new material as early as November 2009, and are expected to release their debut single in October 2010, followed by a full-length studio album in early 2011, which will be produced by Steve Lillywhite.
