Music & Visuals from Ireland's OG emcee. Rí Rá comes from the first wave of Irish hip hop artists, going back to the mid 1980's. A wordsmith, multi instrumentalist, and producer, Rí Rá has released 3 studio albums, (Horses Work For Donkeys Wages 2009, The 13th Tide 2022, Notes Of Distinguished Ghosts 2025), and also collaborated with reggae giants Sly & Robbie, and the late Irish songstress Sinéad O'Connor, among many others. His song writing has gained praise from past punk poets, the late Shane MacGowan, and Joe Strummer (The Clash). With a musical output over 35 years, the original Rí Rá continues to release new material. His latest album 'Notes of Distinguished Ghosts' is available from April 2025 on MaddAxxe Music....
