I built lighted diecast cars for over 15 years. I started with only adding basic head and tail lights to diecast models. I then added random flashing LEDs to a police car and thats when it sarted! From a full-blown, personalied police cruiser with your unit number and license plate, fire apparatus, school bus models and everything in between. I even tarted using custom made sound modules with songs, siren sounds and any other sound effect a customer asked for. Unfortunately, too many sloppy builders entered the hobby and were more worried about making a few dollars rather than providing a customer with an awesome build they could be proud of. It even came to these builders posing as myself and other reputable builders, stealing our videos and saying they built it for us and we just sold the models.....whatever. With all the time it took to do a nice build, answer emails, write estimates, deal with the extra IRS crap and everything else, I decided it wasn't worth the headache.
