Mariam Shehab, better known under the name Melissa, is a Lebanese singer born in southern Lebanon in 1982. Melissa has experienced a meteoric rise since the beginning of her career. She is now very popular in the Arab World. Melissa was spotted by leading music producer Jean Saliba, known for launching the career of the famous singer Elissa. She recorded her first song, "Leil Ya Leil" in 2005, and released her debut album "Baddi Mennak" in 2006, which turned out to be a huge success.
