FLAC = Free Lossless Audio Codec HQ = High Quality Basically the best quality-codec for music. The video is uploaded as mkv, merged with a flac file that will be compressed after upload. The reason it sounds so good is because the source file has great quality/better mastering. Before uploading a song, I compare it to all other flac files I can find, sometimes I have to compare it to 15+ files and then I upload the one I find best.
